Day 10/365- Music.
Music is pretty much my escape from all the stress and my sometimes busy schedule of my life. I really like this guitar pick because not only does it symbolizes the love of music but also that I love playing guitar. I learned when I was in sixth grade in private lessons(I wasn't as lucky as my cousin Ben, he taught himself) After I learned the basics I went home and got all these sheet music and taught myself strum patterns and what not. I have an acoustic guitar that my parents bought me that I will always keep and love for the rest of my life. As of right now I would love to teach people over the summer how to play guitar if they have their own. I would like to buy my own electric guitar so I can say "I play acoustic and electric". Right now I just finished up learning how to play "Amaryllis" by Shinedown and am trying to learn how to play "Drunk on You" by Luke Bryan (Yeah, I know what you are thinking, you are tooo in love with him!) Not only do I play for just my sake but I also play for the Youth Band at the church that I go to. Oh how I love music and my guitar <3

Day 9/365- Skillet!
As much as I love country music I have to say I love rock music as well. Last fall I went and saw Skillet with my youth group and I have to say that show was pretty amazing. Of course this wasn't my first rock concert, I have seen Disturbed and Avenged Sevenfold together, but this by far was my favorite rock concert. In this picture is the lead singer of Skillet. This concert by far was fun because how many pastors stand with the youth for a good two hours and head bang along with you? Not many. I also liked this concert because I was with my friends which makes it more special because you're singing along with every song with them at the top of your lungs. Of course we went on a school night so that whole day when we passed down the hall way we would say how many hours were left until the concert. I'm pretty sure that day went by so slow. The worst part was even when school got out we had to go home for another two hours before we met down at the church and took off. I remember getting home at midnight and only getting about five hours of sleep. I did get up and go to school the next day but it was so much fun. I wouldn't trade that night for anything <3

Day 8/365-Clay Matthews.
Clay Matthews. Enough said. Actually, there is a lot that could be said about him. This picture was taken this year at a Youth Superbowl Party. I know, you're probably saying, "Well the Packers didn't play at the Superbowl this year." In response to that, I don't care, I still love my team no matter if they are playing or not playing. I decided to wear my Clay Matthews shirt because I can't stand The New England Patriots (Come on! Tom Brady is just a pretty face!) and I don't really like The New York Giants because they knocked my team out in playoffs (To which I respond, Aaron Rodgers was just having a bad day.) I wore my Matthews shirt all day and that night. What can I say? Once a cheese head always a cheese head <3

Day 7/365-Hidden Talent.
I love to bake. End of story. This picture is the cake I made for my birthday this year. Not the traditional cake that has "Happy Birthday" that is wrote in frosting on top. Best part about this is I made it all by myself which makes it even more special just because it turned out great and my family loved it! This isn't the first cake I've made though before. Ever since I was like 13 I've been making my own birthday cakes. Of course I started off with the traditional cake mix out of the box and worked my way up to homemade cakes. That's how I make all my cakes and cookies and other things now. Homemade. My mom does it and I now am starting to do it. Most people who know me don't know that I like to bake. My close friends know that I love to bake because I end up baking with them or baking something for them. I used to just use the recipes my mother gave me, but thanks to my best friend Nicole, who introduced me to Pinterest, I have new recipes that I have found on my own and would love to make sometime! I don't know if I should thank her or curse her because I know if I make everything I pin I will be a million pounds! <3

Day 6/365- Funniest picture ever.
Oh how I enjoy and hate this picture at the same time. The reason why I love this picture is because it's a funny picture and it captures a moment in time that is a good memory for me. This picture was taken in March in Silver Dollar City in Branson, Missouri. Matt, Breanna, Austin, and I were on The PowderKeg. You might be wondering why I have my eyes closed and my teeth all closed tight together. Well it is because it shoots you out of the gate going 53 MPH in about 2.8 seconds. You might be thinking, "wow, you miss are a pansy, that's not fast at all." Well let me tell you something it's not because of how fast it was going, it is because I don't really like roller coasters that much. When I'm waiting in line I will be so excited and cannot wait, but once we are in the seats and it's time to go all I want is to be out and not on the dang ride. So here we are shot off going 53 MPH. All I can here in the background is Matt laughing and saying "this is so cool!" I finally opened my eyes about half way through, big mistake. I opened my eyes when we dropped 110 feet. Once we got off the ride I was so glad to back on the ground I could have kissed it. Which i did not, by the way. The reason why I hate this picture? Well that's because it shows how scared I am. Do I regret going on this ride? Not at all! I would love to go back and ride the ride again someday! <3

Day 5/365- Traveling.
Most people don't know that I love to travel. Yes, I like to complain about long car rides and about how bored I am, but in reality I love the long car rides and the places I get to see and things I see. I think I complain so much during the car rides is because I'm wanting to be were we are going and experience new things and see new sites. Car rides can be the peaceful but also the worst part of the trip. The worst part is the wait of getting to were you are heading. The peaceful part is on the way back home and you have all these new memories and stories you are taking back to share with other people. This picture was taken about a year ago when I spent a week down in New Madrid, Missouri with a friend. Talk about Small Town USA. I believe the population was 100 people or less and the closest Wal-Mart was about and hour and half away. I didn't mind it, it was pretty peaceful and everyone was super nice to each other. Along with that trip last summer, I also went to Memphis, Tennessee. I can now say that I have been eight states out of the fifty :) I would love to go to the east coast and just go to New York, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and places like that. <3

Day 4/365-Car Bash!
Every year my Youth likes to have an end of school car bash. This usually happens on the last day of school or the day after. In this picture was this years truck that we decided that needed to be bashed. This picture was taken about half way through the car bash. I personally loved this truck before we started banging on it. I didn't see anything wrong with it! As the day went on the whole top of the hood was smashed in thanks to Matt who climbed on top to smash and hit it since none of us others could do it. I decided it was my job to take out the headlights. Don't get me wrong, I am strong but I wanted something that would break as soon as I hit it. Finally, Josh and Dustin got one of the truck doors off. So you might be asking, what do you do with a truck door after you have took it off? Well the answer is: we decided it needed a new home in our Youth room. We have a random green truck door in our Youth room now. It wasn't very easy getting it up there either. Our church is three stories and where is the Youth room? Yep you guessed it, it is on the third floor. One of the boys though took it up there for us and now it is a piece of the room that holds many memories with that truck door. Memories I don't ever want to forget <3

Day 3/365- Tattoos On This Town.
Two words: Jason Aldean. I think I could just end my blog here for the day and not try to explain the picture, but for you readers I don't think that would be very fair if you didn't know who Jason Aldean is. This picture was taken about two years ago when I won tickets to go see him. This wasn't the first time I have seen him. The first time was at a county fair and I was first row right next to the stage. I fell in love. Not with his looks, but with his music. Don't get me wrong Jason is amazing looking but his songs have messages behind them and can relate to coming from a small town. Anyways, back to the story about the picture. My mom and I waited in line for almost 4 hours just so we could get in the doors and get our seats before it became too hard with the rush of people. We were the first ones in line and did I forget to mention it was only 40 degrees out that day? I love my mom so much for dealing with that to go see him with me and take pictures through the whole concert because I didn't have a good camera at the time. And as for my father who took us? He sat out in the car for almost 3 and 1/2 hours. I don't think I could ever thank him as much as he deserves for that night. After sorting through the 800 pictures my mother took I think this is my favorite picture for some reason. It hangs right on my wall next to my bed along with other pictures I have. <3

Day 2/365-Boys of Fall.
Friday night football games. That's where it is at, hands down. My high school is a decent size school and what brings people together more than being stuck in class rooms than football? On Friday nights the stadium would be packed full of students, parents, and former Pirates (that's our school mascot) dressed in Black and Red, our school colors. The picture above is our first football game of the 2011-2012 season. I can't say if we won or not because it was just to see how well the summer training went, but I would like to think that we won. Our next three games after this one? Not so much. Lost all of them but we came back with a 64-0 game. That game was worth sitting out in the 90 degree weather that night. Our football players, they were the "heroes" at our high school. I love Fridays during the school years. Seeing the day game jerseys down the hall and the third floor pep rallies. Trust me I wouldn't trade a minute of the games or those days for anything. After football season it just doesn't feel the same not having anything to do on Friday nights. I'm sure everyone in our high school would agree these boys who are on our football team. They are the Boys of Fall. Every time I hear the song: Boys Of Fall by Kenny Chesney it makes me think of those Friday nights. <3

Day 1/365- My Adopted Family.
This picture above my title is what I like to call my adopted family. Nicole, who is on the far right (and I stole the 365 days in pictures idea from), Brittany, and Matt. I recently became really close with these three. I met these three through my youth group and just started having a close bond with them. I think of them more as older siblings because I am the only child and have always wanted older siblings. Nicole and I pretty much do everything together. If I'm not over at her dorm doing crafty things or baking we are chatting on Facebook. We share the love of doing crafty things, baking, football, and etc. Brittany, or I however call her Britt, and I have become closer this summer because Nicole is back home with her family. She is another one that I can do crafty things along with and share my love of Thor with. :) Finally, Matt is like the older brother that I have always wanted. He's the one I can poke fun at and with and him not getting upset or mad over it. This picture was taken in Branson, Missouri. I had a blast with these three people that weekend and hopefully will have as much fun as I did with them when we go to Six Flags in St. Louis this August! I wouldn't trade these guys for anything! <3
